Overview
Our client is seeking a Quality Leader to support shipyard capability and infrastructure project activities. This role will ensure compliance with quality standards across multiple engineering projects and is ideal for professionals experienced in complex and regulated environments such as the nuclear sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing quality support and oversight across shipyard and infrastructure projects.
- Lead internal audits and reviews, covering management systems, civil and sub-contractor organisations, and suppliers in line with NEC 3 Framework, CDM 2015 Regulations, and ISO 9001:2015.
- Manage and coordinate the management review process, including the development and revision of procedural documents.
- Lead formal investigations and drive problem-solving initiatives.
- Support the Senior Quality Manager with ad-hoc quality-related tasks.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in complex engineering projects.
- Background in nuclear sector regulations, including Nuclear Licence Conditions and Safety Cases.
- Qualified Lead Auditor with experience in supplier assessment and surveillance audits.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and implementation of corrective and improvement actions.
- Familiarity with document and records management practices.
Desirable Skills
- Understanding of CEMAR system.
- Knowledge of Lifetime Quality Records requirements and verification processes.
