Brightwell Specialist out of school provision - Mitcham, Surrey
Brightwell is a short breaks service run by Merton Council and provides an exciting and stimulating environment for children and young people between the ages of 6 to 18 years of age who have disabilities and complex special needs.
Brightwell is open in the school holidays, every weekend and after school every day.
We are looking to recruit suitably qualified (Level 3 Childcare qualification) and experienced people to join our existing team to deliver the very best care and support for children and young people who have a range of SEN needs and disabilities.
In exceptional circumstances we will consider a person without a qualification, as long as they have extensive experience and are able to undertake a Level 3 qualification in the future.
This is a 34hr a week position working over a 4 week rolling rota, to include regular afternoons/evenings (1pm - 8:30pm) 2 weekends a month (08:30-6:30 & 8:30-2:30) and school holidays where we operate a day service (9am - 4:30pm).
As well as the annual salary there is also a weekend enhanced payment of £3,240 and a shift allowance of £1,929 per annum.
