Role Purpose
The product manager for Protein Expression Systems (ES) Licensing portfolio delivers critical support in evolving and leading the mammalian and microbial technology platforms and associated product management activities to meet the needs of the Licensing business unit and its customers.
Success will be directly linked to the development and execution of the right product market strategies and tactics for the ES Licensing product lines. These will include but are not limited to, coordinating successful product launch activities focused on out-licensing for a series of offerings centered round novel IP related to bioprocessing for biologics production, which will significantly enhance the ES value proposition for early stage innovators and established customers.

- Ensure that the product lines deliver to the agreed objectives and meet the success criteria defined in the argument - develop and craft a detailed launch plan
- Manage and motivate multi-disciplinary project launch team and keep team members accountable to deliver.
- Work with Senior Director of Strategic Marketing and Heads of Business Development to implement product strategies at events.
- Increase revenue generated by Licensing BD by managing the existing ES portfolio positioning, features and benefits
- In collaboration with Licensing and Mammalian and Microbial colleagues, proactively maintain existing and initiates new product life-cycle projects by helping to steer the R&D organization in the right direction
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in cellular molecular biology or a related life sciences subject area
- Solid understanding of life science industry, specifically molecular biology and biologics for bioprocessing
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills coupled with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Effective use of hard and soft skills in all aspects of project management including conflict resolution, team building, decision-making, etc…
- Ability to make decisions, while balancing risk.
- Proficiency with MS Excel MS PowerPoint and MS Word required
