Job Description

You will be joining our highly experienced and motivated team focused on supporting the sector to increase delivery, maximising opportunities for investment and meeting local ambitions. The role has a national remit but working closely with the Growth hubs which are based in Bristol, Coventry, Northstowe and Leeds.

We believe in delivering a first-class customer service, resolving delivery issues informally wherever possible, taking an innovative and creative approach to building more affordable housing. The Affordable Housing team ethos is to work in a collaborative and flexible way and valuing diversity in experience and perspective to foster good decision making, managing risk and problem solving within their team.

This is a great chance to help grow and shape the future of affordable housing delivery in an ambitious, national organisation with real social purpose. Person specification

Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders, you will be responsible for providing accurate information to enable good quality decisions to be made to increase the supply of affordable housing. This will require collaboration with teams across Affordable Housing Grants and the wider agency. You will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.

You’ll be comfortable working with data with excellent attention to detail to provide accurate information to the Growth Team and Senior Leadership Team to enable us to use the evidence to build a pipeline and deliver affordable housing.

You’ll have excellent IT and data analytical skills and be able to use a range of systems such as Business Objects, Power BI, Excel and various in-house IT packages. These will be used to interpret information into meaningful intelligence that will enable proactive programme delivery and product development.

You’ll also have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work to agreed timescales.

As an experienced analyst, you’ll understand how to manage colleagues’ expectations, and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
