About the Role
Two Rivers Medical Centre has an opportunity for an administrator to join our busy practice support team and assist in the smooth delivery of excellent patient care. This role is offered as a fixed term contract for 12 months on a part-time basis for 26 hours per week and we are able to be flexible to when these are worked.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- General day to day administration duties.
- Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information and medical data into the clinical system.
- Scanning patient information into computerised records, including medical documents, hospital records and letters, as necessary.
- Retrieving paper notes as requested
- Photocopying documents as required.
- Actioning tasks set by clinicians.
- Processing practice post and emails.
- Reviewing and summarising medical records.
- Registering new patients.
- Handling phone enquiries efficiently.

About the Candidate

- Able to multi-task, work hard and maintain a high level of attention to detail, when under pressure.
- Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as comfortable working independently.
Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
