Soft Services Supervisor - Martineau Place

Purpose of the Role

This permanent role of Soft Services Supervisor you will be providing you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and security staff. To provide support and guidance to staff and to support the Centre Management Team. Ensuring all mandatory compliance training and onsite training is carried out. Reporting to the Operations Support Manager and Centre Manager. You will also be, monitoring, and maintaining health & safety to the centre working within a team of security officers and cleaners. External patrolling and liaising with the shop tenants and ensuring a presence to the public, also performing daily Health & safety checks in and around the centre. Monitoring public space via CCTV in a control room SIA CCTV licence required.

Key Responsibilities

• This role entails the running of the security and cleaning team, such as Rotas, Timegate, wages and holidays to training and ensuring that staff are full trained and up to standard, this role will be on site. Reporting to the Operations Support Manager and Center Manager.
• Liaising with the tenants of the shop units.
• H&S of the site ensuring checks are carried out in line with Savills H&S policies and procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Excellent customer care skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility.
• Experience in managerial security-based roles.
• Experience in managerial cleaning-based roles.
• Valid Door supervisor security license
• Valid CCTV SIA license
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• IOSH accreditation is desirable.

Working Hours - 45 hours per week, Permanent days – 4 on 0900-1900 2 off 6 on 0700-1700

Salary - £14.80
