We are looking for an Internal Communications Advisor whose role is predominantly focused on supporting the Internal Communications leads across our Group of businesses. You will help deliver our communication and culture agenda, through a keen eye for a story and your creative use of internal communication channels.
Hybrid working - Comfortable working remotely with weekly travel to Northampton and other Travis Perkins Group sites as required.

What you’ll do:
The Internal Communications Advisor’s success will be ensuring the seamless coordination and delivery of communication through the engagement of key stakeholders; ensuring projects and initiatives are identified, planned and brought into the business in a smooth and effective way; helping the evolution of our culture.
The role holder will need to have great writing skills, a curious journalist approach, strong technical and creative skills, proven experience in organising and coordinating multiple projects and initiatives, be a great communicator, as well as developing and maintaining great working relationships with key audiences.

Some accountabilities of the role:
- Supporting the design, development, delivery and measurement of colleague communication initiatives. Including the writing and developing of communications, delivered through varying channels, in support of our business’ and Group agendas
- Editing and uploading content for our key communication channels and reviewing their effectiveness in light of business/colleague needs, suggesting developments as and when needed. Including; Email bulletins, intranet content, video content
- Supporting the organisation and delivery of key business events e.g. Town Halls, Senior Leadership videos and roadshows.
- Editorial ownership and content creation for the Measure, our weekly email bulletin
- Proven experience of producing engaging internal communications for a diverse audience, ideally including non-desk workers.
- Interest and experience in shaping organisational culture and engagement.
- Organised with a natural inclination for planning and coordination, being able to bring sense and structure to a fast moving landscape.
- Communication campaign development and implementation.
- Able to work collaboratively and facilitate positive change in a growing business.
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation.
