Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager within Production Management to lead our manufacturing operations in a GMP-compliant environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, managing cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives of the IDD Manufacturing department to ensure all goals are met.

Leading a 24-hour production operation with strong links to other key functions, this role includes the leadership for investment in new equipment and products as well as managing the existing equipment to deliver current capacity.

Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Maintain a safe working environment for all workers, contractors and visitors.
  • Ensure safe working practices and procedures are defined and adhered to with risk assessments, audits and training conducted as required within the team.
  • Develop and audit metrics for the group’s performance to ensure delivery of customer aligned KPIs.
  • Drive team adherence and improvement to GMP standards.
  • Lead the group through appropriate performance and financial measures, optimizing people, materials and equipment to achieve the production plan at optimum cost.
  • Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence, delivering improvements to KPIs, and follow operational excellence principles.
  • Improve customer responsiveness, RFT, cost and inventory etc.
  • Drive teamwork and personal development to enable the workforce to plan.
  • Champion active leadership within the group to promote open communication and engagement.
  • Creates a “can do” team through inspirational coaching and leadership development.
  • Ensure employees uphold Kindeva people policies and ethical behaviours.
  • Effective performance management of team and their reports.
  • Ensure the appropriate level of flexibility within the operations team to allow responsiveness to customer and Kindeva requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • Educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role within a production environment.
  • Working knowledge of GMP, regulatory guidelines, and production management systems.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles desirable.
  • Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Working Hours: 37.5hrs per week
