About The Role

Are you a reliable and detail-oriented individual with a passion for maintaining clean and safe environments? We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Bucks MSK team at Practice Plus Group.

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a high standard of cleanliness across both clinical and non-clinical areas within our physiotherapy and musculoskeletal departments. Your contribution will directly support the health, safety, and comfort of our patients and staff every day.

What you'll be doing

As our Housekeeper, you will be:

  • Performing daily cleaning duties in line with national healthcare cleanliness standards and infection control policies
  • Operating cleaning equipment and managing stock levels of cleaning supplies
  • Moving light furniture as needed to ensure thorough cleaning of all areas
  • Completing housekeeping records and reporting faulty equipment or hazards promptly
  • Disposing of waste safely and in compliance with regulations
  • Maintaining PPE and colour-coded procedures to uphold hygiene and safety standards
  • Respectfully working around patients and staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Supporting audits, inspections, and continuous improvement of the housekeeping service
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety, infection control, and data protection policies

What we’ll look for in you

With your previous cleaning experience (ideally in a healthcare setting), you will also have:

  • A good standard of spoken and written English
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
  • A friendly, adaptable, and polite manner with a strong commitment to customer care
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Physically fit to perform manual tasks and flexible with working hours
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures – desirable
  • Experience using cleaning machinery – desirable
  • A full UK driving licence - desirable
