As Global Mobility Manager, you will manage and oversee international assignments and relocations for our Vacuum Technique Business Area (VTBA), enjoying significant autonomy to make impactful decisions that drive our objectives forward.

You will lead the VTBA Global Mobility team, ensuring alignment with the Group Mobility Strategy and local regulations. Your role will involve partnering with key stakeholders, providing global mobility expertise, and advising on best practices, to ensure our employees have a smooth transition and are well-supported throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Serve as the primary contact for global mobility in VTBA.
  • Collaborate with HR, legal, and finance teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain global mobility policies and procedures.
  • Drive process improvements through digital automation and embed best practises.
  • Develop tools and practices to enhance local HR Manager and line manager interactions with assignees and ensure assignments are managed through the digital portal.
  • Support employees and their families during international assignments.
  • Monitor and report on mobility program effectiveness.
  • Create and deliver initiatives and upskilling which promote Global Mobility.
  • Navigate complex situations with finesse, escalating contentious issues and policy deviations as needed

What You Need To Be Successful In This Role

  • 7+ years of global mobility experience.
  • Strong knowledge of immigration / tax laws and relocation processes.
  • Solid business acumen, understanding of complex Organisational structures and how they impact on Global Mobility data analytics and assignment allocations.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple projects / initiatives simultaneously.
  • Cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and effective relationships.
  • Create a strong network of contacts to help navigate the complexity of the organisation.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organisation often without direct authority
