We are seeking to recruit a Team Leader to join the Adult Community Mental Health Service (ACMHS) in North West Hertfordshire. This post is to manage and oversee all of the First Contact Assessments that come into the Dacorum and St . Albans teams. The post holder will review and triage all of the new referrals into the team, and oversee the process for booking service users into their First Contact Assessments. You will work alongside the other leaders in the team but will focus on the First Contact Assessments. You will manage some admin staff who arrange the bookings and support the wider team with the assessment processes.

You must hold a full valid driving licence and have access to a car to use regularly for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

The Successful Candidate Will

  • work in collaboration with the Community Mental Health Services Manager and a multidisciplinary leadership team
  • ensure the highest standards of practice and service delivery
  • deliver the services required under the National Service Framework for Mental Health
  • be an experienced mental health clinician
  • have excellent assessment and risk management skills
  • embrace and drive change and innovation
  • be skilled and intuitive communicator with experience of providing leadership
