Systems Administrator at Evaro

Evaro is looking to do for health care what online banking has done for finance, and we're looking for a Systems Administrator to help us build and maintain the robust infrastructure that powers our mission.

About The Job

We're seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain our critical IT infrastructure. You'll have a proven background in system administration, with expertise in cloud platforms, security compliance, and automation. This role requires someone who can think strategically about infrastructure while maintaining hands‑on technical excellence. You’ll have a background in delivering great employee support while proactively problem‑solving and discovering efficient solutions to IT problems. Evaro is based in Norwich, in the United Kingdom, and this is an on‑site role where you’ll be collaborating with developers and other colleagues spread across Europe.

In this role you will:

  • Set up and configure new and existing IT service solutions to deliver fast and effective support for our employees.
  • Configure IAM, user, device, and group policies for services.
  • Automate system provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance through Infrastructure as Code practices
  • Guarantee a security architecture that ensures the privacy of our patients and staff data.
  • Support staff with day‑to‑day tech problems, while delivering scheduled user and device onboarding
  • Mentor junior IT staff and establish best practices for system administration

You'll report directly to the CTO and collaborate closely with both our development and data teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of enterprise systems administration experience,
  • Experience in heavily regulated industries
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (especially GCP)
  • Experience of onboarding users to an IdP and a variety of SaaS products
  • Desktop and laptop device maintenance and management experience
  • Cross‑platform OS troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to self‑start and think outside the box to solve problems

Nice to Have

  • Healthcare sector experience and understanding of NHS technical standards
  • PowerShell and / or Unix shell scripting experience (e.g. for Entra / MS365 tenant administration automation)
  • Commercial experience onboarding devices with Intune Autopilot and securing them with Windows Defender policies
  • Experience configuring and securing SaaS in a commercial setting
  • Professional certifications
  • Previous experience in startups or high‑growth environments
