At our Labcorp site in Alconbury, near Huntingdon, Cambs we are looking to recruit a Study Analyst to join our experienced Crop Protection Chemical (CPC) Analysis team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced chemists in an established testing laboratory. Whilst receiving training in the laboratory methods and techniques required to evaluate the individual properties of a chemical you will also develop a knowledge of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and its importance in regulatory studies.

Job Responsibilities Include
- Developing competent basic laboratory skills to support CPC properties testing including LC-MS/MS
- Sets up and performs appropriate analyses in primary area of responsibility based on the study protocol and in conjunction with the study team along with instrumental analysis
- Maintain study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines and the recording actions/ observations in accordance with GLP
- Follow instructions, SOPs and protocols that apply to current role to complete assigned tasks and projects
- Gain knowledge on handling and troubleshooting LC and MS (Acquity and Sciex Mass spectrometer)

- BSc in Chemistry or related subject
- Knowledge in the use of standard laboratory equipment
- A genuine interest in science and analysis
- Proficiency with I.T and computer software packages such as Excel
- Good numeracy
- Organised and self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative
- Knowledge and/or experience of LC-MS/MS would be advantageous·
