Are you an experienced logistics professional with a background in equipment hire or powered access? We’re looking for a driven Regional Logistics Manager to lead and optimise the movement, delivery, and coordination of our powered access fleet across the South West!
This is a key leadership position in our operations team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient, timely, and compliant transport and return of powered access equipment across multiple depots, working closely with hire controllers, transport teams, and depot managers.

This is a key leadership position in our operations team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the efficient, timely, and compliant transport and return of powered access equipment across multiple depots, working closely with hire controllers, transport teams, and depot managers.
What You’ll Need
- Management of all logistics employees across the region, including drivers and planners
- Oversee daily the daily logistics operations within the region to improve operational efficiency and exceed customer expectation
- Accountable for the optimisation of routes and schedules to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Accountable for asset optimisation within the region to maximise availability of Powered Access machines and deliver to customer expectations and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to transportation.
- Coordinate the allocation and movement of equipment to meet regional demand.
- Conduct regular audits of transportation and storage facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Implement best practices for transportation, warehousing, and asset management.
- Ensure adherence to local, regional, and national transportation regulations and laws and implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure the well-being of drivers and other staff.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Manage the regional fleet of vehicles, including maintenance, repairs, and replacement.
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement measures to improve fuel efficiency.
- Ensure vehicles are equipped with necessary tools, technology, and safety equipment.
- Develop and manage the transportation budget for the region.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
