We’d love to welcome you to our small, supportive team at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary; a modern, well equipped district general hospital located in the beautiful South West of Scotland. We are excited to welcome some new to our friendly and dedicated Emergency Department team. Our department sees around 40,000 patients each year and is supported by a committed group of medical and nursing staff. As part of our senior clinical team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring excellent patient care, as well as mentoring and supervising junior doctors and medical students.
Dumfries & Galloway is a welcoming and scenic region covering 2,500 square miles, with a population of approximately 150,000. As the only major Emergency Department in the area, we provide comprehensive care to a wide range of patients including; adults and children with medical, surgical, and trauma presentations.
