About the Role:

We're looking for a commercially driven professional to lead the performance and strategic planning across our iconic brands – Nutella, Tic Tac, Biscuits, and Bakery – within the UK & Ireland Region on a 12 month FTC.

In this role, you'll take ownership of profit and loss analysis for each category, driving innovation and renovation plans while assessing investment opportunities. You’ll set clear targets and support the full planning cycle, including budgeting and the SAF (4+8 forecast) process.

You’ll also manage and monitor Advertising & Promotion (A&P) spend, providing insightful variance analyses and strategic recommendations to stakeholders. Your expertise will ensure A&P budgets and forecasts are fully aligned with our commercial goals.

Main Responsibilities:

Planning

The role involves defining targets related to profit and loss as well as investments, with a specific focus on the Nutella, Tic Tac, Biscuits, and Bakery categories across the UK & Ireland region. This includes leading discussions and negotiations of financial targets for these categories, while actively supporting business decision-making in areas such as planning, budgeting, SAF analysis, and financial performance review. Opportunities for improvement are identified through close analysis of category-specific results. A key responsibility is synthesising financial results and investment plans at the regional level, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Support is provided to the planning and controlling functions within Nutella, Tic Tac, Biscuits, and Bakery, particularly in relation to setting and managing budget targets. The role also includes developing and managing Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader strategic and commercial goals. Collaboration is shared with Marketing.

Controlling and Reporting

Controlling and reporting responsibilities include conducting detailed financial analysis for Nutella, Tic Tac, Biscuits, and Bakery, with an emphasis on interpreting data and financial statements. The role monitors the outcomes of planned initiatives to assess return on investment and provides in-depth data analysis and reporting for use by stakeholders across functions such as Marketing, Supply Chain, and R&D.

Business decision-making is supported through tailored data insights, and monthly performance of A&P activities is tracked closely to deliver variance analysis and actionable recommendations. This responsibility is held in full, with shared contributions to the Marketing, Supply Chain, and R&D teams.

Other Activities

The role supports the implementation of central guidelines and methodologies within the Nutella, Tic Tac, Biscuits, and Bakery categories, working closely with the planning and controlling team. It includes analysis and validation of investment cases, supported by simulations and business planning for new initiatives. Additionally, the role assists in executing group-level initiatives and projects, and in providing accurate information related to transfer pricing for use in planning, budgeting, and SAF processes. Collaboration in these areas is shared, particularly with Group Controlling.

Who we are looking for:

Proficient in using SAP for various business processes. Advanced skills in Excel, including complex data analysis and reporting. Experienced with the full Microsoft Office Suite, leveraging these tools to support effective communication and project management.
