- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measurement tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres, gauges).
- Conduct functional tests to verify product compliance with specifications.
- Identify and report any deviations from quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, including test results, defects, and corrective actions.
- Support with the creation and issuing of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Prepare and submit quality reports to the Quality Manager and production teams.
- Conduct random checks and audits during production to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
- Provide immediate feedback to operators and supervisors regarding quality issues.
- Assist in identifying root causes of defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with company quality policies, industry standards, and customer requirements.
- Follow and enforce workplace safety regulations and environmental policies.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve processes and resolve quality issues.
- Support training initiatives to promote quality awareness among shopfloor staff.
- Ensure that inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and in good working condition.
- Notify appropriate personnel if calibration or repair is required.
