• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measurement tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres, gauges).
• Conduct functional tests to verify product compliance with specifications.
• Identify and report any deviations from quality standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate inspection records, including test results, defects, and corrective actions.
• Support with the creation and issuing of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Prepare and submit quality reports to the Quality Manager and production teams.

Shopfloor Monitoring:

• Conduct random checks and audits during production to ensure adherence to quality procedures.
• Provide immediate feedback to operators and supervisors regarding quality issues.
• Assist in identifying root causes of defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure compliance with company quality policies, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Follow and enforce workplace safety regulations and environmental policies.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve processes and resolve quality issues.
• Support training initiatives to promote quality awareness among shopfloor staff.

Tools and Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure that inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and in good working condition.
• Notify appropriate personnel if calibration or repair is required.
