Manufacturing Engineer

A day at MKS:

We are looking for our new Manufacturing engineer in our company MKS based in Crewe. In this role, you will be the key point between engineering projects and operations projects, you will report to the Production/Operations Manager.

You will make an impact by:

• Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies
• Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products
• Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
• Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
  
  

Your skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
• A relevant similar experience
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate information and ideas to others and exchange accurate information
• Documentation
• Lean manufacturing knowledge will be benefical
