We are currently looking for a junior paralegal to join our Private Client team within our Cheltenham office.

The junior paralegal will provide support to the department with various tasks, including legal research, document preparation, and administrative support. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience in the legal field.

Key Tasks/responsibilities

Workload management: Assist with legal research and gather relevant information. Prepare and organise legal documents and case files. Provide administrative support to the department and senior paralegals. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Client management: Demonstrate excellent customer service skills when meeting clients. Learn to communicate effectively and manage client expectations, treating them with courtesy and respect. Escalate any issues as necessary.

Build knowledge: Learn from others through the work environment and formal learning. Maintain an open mindset. Show a willingness to take on feedback from leadership to grow.

Collaboration: Develop efficiency when working with others, learn to manage relationships in a professional environment. Approach all tasks with confidence and a positive attitude.

Knowledge, Education, And Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree desirable.
  • 0-1 year of experience in a legal setting or a basic understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
  • Eager to learn and develop skills in the legal field.
  • Detail-oriented and organised.
  • Positive and proactive approach to tasks.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
