The general operative will work as part of a small team and is required to assist with the smooth day to day running of the Hangar space. The duties will involve general upkeep of the Hangar space, bay preparation, waste management, and movement of equipment. The operative will be responsible for ensuring that the maintenance area is cleaned to a high standard before and after Aircraft maintenance as well as interior and exterior cleaning of the Aircraft.

- Ensure that all work and duties assigned are completed in a timely and professional manner to maximise output of the Hangar
- Ensure that all work completed is signed for (as required) using the approved Data sheets.
- Maintain an excellent timekeeping and attendance record in line with company procedures.
- Ensure that their Zonal Leader is aware of all materials used in the carrying out tasks so that they are recorded.
- As required tidying up the Hangar space before and following the completion of an aircraft visit.
- Assist with the waste management in and around the Hangar space
- Operate so that there are minimum audit findings and where findings exist, assist with corrective action.
- Ensure proper use of all personal protective clothing and equipment as required and provided.
- Maintain work area in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
- Report any airworthiness or Safety issues to the Zonal or Check Leader.
- Be prepared to undertake other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Company from time to time
- Verify that any test equipment used is within calibration date.
- Ensure the expectations of the customer are met and where possible exceeded
- Ensure that Break times are adhered to at all times.
- Technical Appreciation of how to work in a busy aviation Hangar
- Ability to understand and act on specific instructions.
- A good standard of communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to adapt to change and work as part of a team.
- Possess a common sense and flexible approach to changing priorities and customer demands at short notice.
- Hold a Clean Driving Licence.
- Preferable hold a forklift Driving certificate.
- Ability to Learn and follow Instructions for ref the handling of Hazardous Materials
- A Basic understanding of the Company MOE and Procedures Manual.
- Willingness to enhance skills through courses provided by the company.
- Able to work well under pressure & achieve tight deadlines
- A positive attitude & enthusiastic to work in growing company
