Sales Office Manager - Pipe and Climate - Birmingham West Bromwich

As a Sales Office Manager you’ll be responsible for:

  • Deliver, maintain and insist on a safe working environment.
  • Build a driven and engaged team who are focused on meeting individual and branch based targets.
  • Communicating daily with the team on current branch and individual performance.
  • Lead from the front and coach your team.
  • Complete monthly 1-2-1’s with direct reports.
  • Deputise in the absence of the General Manager or Branch Manager.
  • Ensure the team are responding to price enquiries and quote requests.
  • Builds long lasting relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Use the benefits of the systems to deliver customer service excellence.
  • Achieve revenue, gross profit pounds and sales margin targets.
  • Maximise the value of transactions through the use of contract support, preferred suppliers, add on sales etc.
  • Analyse and track branch based reporting in order to identify and build activity based sales plans.
  • Driving down branch and company debtor days.
  • Collaborate and work with Operations Managers, Transport Managers and Warehouse Managers to drive continuous improvement
  • Assist in driving down operational costs through effective communication with Operations Managers, Transport Managers and Warehouse Managers on a daily basis.

This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 08.00am - 5.00pm.
