Job Description: Ferring Controlled Therapeutics is experiencing an exciting phase of growth and opportunity and thus, have an exciting opening for a Supply Chain Planner to join our Supply Chain team The Supply Chain Planner will report our Supply Chain Lead Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and update supply plans for the relevant products/value stream/production lines with the aim to consistently deliver goods on time and in full along the value chain.
  • Drive the weekly master planning (firming, order changes, exception, order promising).
  • Manage production schedules in SAP and provide reliable information based on material availability.
  • Perform capacity planning and capacity balancing utilising SAP and Kinaxis ERP systems.
  • Calculate and provide relevant data for internal and external reporting.
  • Analyse and contribute to the root cause analysis in case of Stock-out and put actions in place to avoid re-occurrence.
  • Document and report KPIs. Build performance measures and ensures corrective actions based on these.
  • Drive supply availability data collection and challenges ensure the reliability of the ERP calculation in areas of responsibility.
  • Liaise with relevant parties on building scenarios for gap closing.
  • Represent Supply Chain function in specific projects (e.g. transfers, launches).
  • Coordinate with master data team to ensure all planning parameters and tools (lead times, material usage variations, lot sizes) are accurate and up to date.
  • Monthly ordering of packaging components to ensure the availability
  • Closely monitor changes in packaging to adhere to new packaging implementation dates and challenge these dates where necessary to minimise write off value
  • Work closely with lifecycle team to manage changes and alignment with market approval dates.
Experience/Skills:
  • Education in Logistics/Supply chain (equivalent education in Business administration will also be considered) or 3+ year equivalent experience in a manufacturing GMP role.
  • Fluent in English and any additional language is a merit.
  • 3+ year experience in Supply Planning in Pharmaceutical or a highly regulated business a preference
  • Familiar with ERP applications such as ASCP, SAP, Kinaxis (Rapid response)
  • Good communication skills in writings as well as verbal
  • Familiar in project management
  • Any post-education program in supply management is a plus (APICS certified).
  • Excellent skills in MS Applications
