Castell Howell Foods is Wales’ leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. Due to the ongoing growth of sales, we currently have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager covering the Gloucester area.


Do you have a passion for sales and food?  

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships and develop strategic plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Identify and target potential customers to grow the sales ledger
  • Develop and present proposals to prospective customers


The successful candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset, positive attitude, be self-motivated but also a team player when needed. You will appreciate the Castell Howell ethos in delivering excellent customer service while maximising business opportunities to both new and existing customers. 


If you have a food or similar sales background, can demonstrate good organisational and communication skills then this is the role for you. Initial and ongoing training will be provided due to the ever-changing trends within the industry


What we offer:

  • A full-time position, 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30
