Electronics Technician

We currently have an opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join our maintenance department.

These positions offer variety and a broad range of responsibilities including:

• Commissioning, maintaining, fault-diagnosing and modification of automated assembly and production equipment
• Providing support to plant facilities and systems
• Working as part of a multi-skilled team in a high tech environment.
  
  

Essential Criteria:

• Educated to ONC in a relevant discipline or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year’s practical experience within a manufacturing environment
• Thorough understanding of electrical circuitry
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to maintain electrical equipment and machinery
• Demonstrate an aptitude for fault finding and problem solving on production type equipment
• Computer literate
• Ability to take general directions but work with minimal supervision.
• Good team working and communication skills
  
  

Desirable Criteria:

• Educated to HNC standard in relevant discipline or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year’s relevant practical experience of fault finding to component level on analogue and digital systems.
• Working knowledge of PLCs
• Working knowledge of 16th – 18th Edition
• Mechanical aptitude
