The Compleat Food Group is looking for a dynamic individual to lead and develop our Facilities function at our Crewe site.
Location: Crewe
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent (onsite)
Reporting to: Head of Engineering

The Compleat Food Group is looking for a dynamic individual to lead and develop our Facilities function at our Crewe site.
Location: Crewe
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent (onsite)
Reporting to: Head of Engineering
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Site Maintenance & Compliance: Manage facilities systems, utilities, and services in line with SHE and food safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and support the Facilities Technicians, ensuring performance, training, and development are front and centre.
- Reactive & Preventative Maintenance: Drive CMMS usage to plan and track all maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations.
- Contractor & Project Management: Own contractor control processes and manage CAPEX projects from concept to completion.
- Safety First: Be a visible champion of health, safety, and compliance across all site activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with other departments to implement lean processes, drive efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Time-served multi-skilled engineering apprenticeship (electrical or mechanical).
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Engineering Maintenance (or equivalent).
- IOSH/NEBOSH trained, F-Gas certified, and ideally experience as a duty holder.
- Solid knowledge of CMMS systems and engineering compliance frameworks.
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading engineering or facilities teams in FMCG or manufacturing.
- A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude with strong leadership and communication skills.
