Contract type: Full time

The post holder will be responsible for leading the design and build of specified EPR modules, under their allocated tranche of the programme delivery plan.
The post holder will build and maintain strong relationships with the related clinical areas in the Trust and with the EPR supplier, Nerve Centre.
The post holder will work closely with the other Tranche Design & Build Leads, and the wider pool of Delivery Group Leads.
This role will include in-depth analysis of current working practices, process mapping and policy analysis, and coordinating others to carry out this activity too – with the principles of User-Centred Design (UCD) in mind. The post holder will lead and support on design and build, including testing and go-live activities.
The post holder will provide support to the EPR team to implement the Trust’s digital strategy through the lifecycle of the programme.
The EPR Programme Team is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the new EPR system (NerveCentre). The postholder will play a key role in the implementation of the EPR across United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (ULTH). The postholder will provide leadership and practical support to digital and clinical workstreams to take forward improvements and new ways of working, enable successful service transition, drive operational change, and help realise the qualitative and quantitative benefits available with a fully integrated electronic patient record.
The post holder will work with the clinical teams to ensure alignment of priorities to achieve the overall programme plan and support staff to develop and improve the new EPR for all clinical services across the Trust – following the principles of User-Centred Design.
Improving patient safety, quality of care, patient experience and staff experience is an explicit priority rather than an assumption and needs to underpin all elements of the implementation and beyond.
