Role Overview

We seek a reliable individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative. This role is suitable for someone who can manage the physical heavy lifting of big fabric rolls and operate an FLT. Therefore, previous experience is a must.

Warehouse Operative Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and store goods and supplies with accuracy and responsibility. This task will involve significant manual lifting.
  • Operate a cutting table.
  • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (loading, packing, wrapping, labelling, shipping).
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Assist with warehouse organisation and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is a must.
  • Forklift Certification.
  • Able to handle heavy equipment and operating machinery.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems and order processing.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with team members and other departments.
