We have a new and exciting opportunity that has arisen for one of our newest clients, based in Slough! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Monitoring Centre (RMC) Manager to oversee security operations within a high-tech, office-based environment. Working on 12-hour shifts alongside a small team, you'll take a pivotal role in managing a Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) platform that monitors and controls alarms and events across multiple data centre environments (IBXs) at our client site.
As the RMC Manager, you'll be responsible for supervising RMC Operators, coordinating incident response, and escalating issues to on-site security personnel as needed. You'll also handle key remote security tasks such as remote badging and intercom access when local teams are unavailable. In addition, you'll ensure full shift coverage, manage planned and unplanned absences, and uphold strict service level agreements (SLAs) at all times.

- Directs or completes tasks associated with these areas of responsibilities:
- Actively manage the RMC shifts , overseeing security monitoring, incident triage, incident response, forensics, and root cause analysis.
- Monitor security & building systems to ensure all highlighted areas of concern are managed in line with the IBX policies and procedures, including escalation.
- Generate reports, provide security improvement recommendations, and communicate security-related information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to risk assessments, vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and root cause analysis.
- Develop and update Incident Response Plans (IRPs) and regularly test them.
- Manage standard operating procedures, protocols, and documentation, including assessment-based findings and propositions for further system security enhancement.
- Lead and manage a team of physical security operations analysts and security guard postings.
- 3+ years of working in a security or emergency operations centre.
- 3+ years in a team leadership or supervisor role.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of incident and crisis management.
