Finance Analyst

RAC have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst, to drive the financial performance of our OEM division through the provision of full and accurate financial information, support, guidance, insight and challenge.

Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will be a vital link between the heart of Business Roadside and Finance, supporting all aspects of financial management. From month end journals, budgeting & forecasting, financial analysis, and commercial pricing to monthly reporting, you will provide valuable insights that drive performance and profitability across the division and efficiency across the Finance team.

This is an ideal role for a recent graduate who is looking to accelerate their finance career and become CIMA or ACCA qualified (or currently studying towards one).

This is a hybrid role, working two days a week from our Bescot offices and three days working from home.

What You Will Do…

• Effective and efficient accounting, producing timely and accurate numbers
• Ensuring financial controls operate effectively
• Supporting the business area in developing annual budgets and regular forecasting
• Supporting the reporting of financial performance including monthly, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Supporting the provision of effective financial insight, analysis and challenge
• Supporting the provision of financial appraisal and decision support and analysis
• Enforcing standards and controls of Board, Group Finance and regulatory bodies
  
  

What You Will Need…

The ideal candidate will be looking to start or currently studying towards their CIMA/ACCA qualification in accountancy. This role will involve working with large amounts of data and, with this in mind, we are looking for someone who has a high attention to detail and accuracy.

You’ll possess excellent analytical skills, be highly organised, comfortable working to tight deadlines and have the ability to quickly assimilate information and make decisions.
