What will you be doing?

Kainé Management is a community charity that has operated for over two decades in Leicester. Our focus areas are Arts, Community, and Education, and we deliver innovative, culturally responsive programming for young people, seniors, BAME students, and the wider community. To support our long-term sustainability and reduce reliance on grants, we are seeking to expand our income-generating activities - including workshops, education services, events, and performance bookings. We are looking for a Commercial Advisor to work closely with our Co-Founders and trustees on a flexible, project-based basis. You'll act in an advisory capacity to help shape our commercial roadmap and identify opportunities for earned income growth. Your input might include reviewing current services for commercial potential, proposing pricing or delivery models, helping us assess markets, or advising on strategy for launching new offerings. You might also support us in designing staff roles, costings, and financial planning related to this growth. The time commitment is flexible and can be adapted to your availability. We welcome interest from people with a background in commercial strategy, social enterprise, or business development who are passionate about creating social impact. This role is ideal if you want to contribute strategically to a cause you care about, without taking on formal board duties.
