Purpose of the role

In this vital role, you'll be the right hand to our CEO and Executive Directors—ensuring their time is used effectively and strategically. From managing high-level communications to coordinating meetings and travel logistics, you’ll be central to keeping operations running smoothly at the top level of our organisation.

This is more than just diary management. You’ll be a trusted advisor and confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.


This position is an office based 12-month Fixed Term Contract for a maternity leave cover.

Anticipated start date 1st September.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries to the CEO and Board—professionally and tactfully managing responses.
  • Managing inboxes and diaries for the CEO and Executive Board, including coordinating meetings, agendas, and minute-taking.
  • Drafting and editing high-quality communications and correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
  • Ensuring that key decisions and instructions from the CEO are clearly and appropriately relayed across the organisation.
  • Organising UK and international travel, accommodation, and itineraries for the CEO and Board.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and board papers, handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including senior managers, clients, and service providers.
  • Tracking meeting action items and following up on agreed tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Supporting operational projects and client meetings when required, including documentation and coordination.
  • Actioning any ad hoc requests as they arise.


What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience supporting C-suite or Executive-level leaders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Superb organisational and time-management abilities, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Confident decision-making, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • A professional, customer-focused approach and strong interpersonal skills.
