Life is complicated. Sometimes people encounter challenges and problems that they don’t know how to deal with, and they need help to overcome. We're here to help everyone in society that needs us. We believe individuals should be able to get help in the way that works for them and meets their needs. Citizens Advice is an independent organisation specialising in confidential information and providing free advice to assist people with legal, debt, consumer, housing and other problems in the United Kingdom. By providing this free advice and support, the Citizens Advice help millions of people find a way forward each year. We aren’t driven by a one-size fits all approach, and provide support in person, over the phone and online. People also need different types of support at various times in their life. We provide education and skills to help our clients avoid similar problems in the future. We equip them with financial skills to help manage their budgets and avoid debt, and to ensure they know about and switch to the best deals that met their needs and save money. As Chair of Trustees, you will oversee the Fareham branch contribution to the National service and help support the Chief Officer and their team made up of paid staff and volunteers to deliver the local service to the Fareham community.
What are we looking for?
