Job Description

  • This is a Maternity Leave post up to 12 months*

Salary: Up to £30,000 DoE

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:00 (37.5 hours)

Location: Nelson, Lancashire

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and lead the full cycle hiring process from sourcing to final selection.
  • Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies across various channels to attract top talent.

Candidate Management

  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline while ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Manage screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding to support successful hires.

Employer Branding

  • Strengthen our presence in the talent market through events, networking, and collaboration with marketing.
  • Create engaging recruitment materials and job postings that reflect our culture and values.

Metrics & Reporting

  • Track key recruitment metrics (e.g. time-to-hire, cost-per-hire) and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Review and refine recruitment processes to improve efficiency and hiring outcomes.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Ability to think creatively and resourcefully to define new means of candidate attraction.
  • Capable in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload.
  • Well organised and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a continuously evolving environment.
  • Positive and conscientious approach to work and willing to get involved at all levels to deliver results.
