Lecturer - Uniformed Services, Southend Campus. Full time. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our outstanding Uniformed Services team within the School of Sport, Public Services, Science and Business. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering high quality teaching and learning, with a clear focus on supporting students to reach their full potential in a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across our Public Services provision, with some potential delivery to our Policing cohorts. You will be expected to develop effective teaching strategies and resources that cater for all learners and reflect current educational initiatives. It is desirable, though not essential, that the successful candidate holds a recognised teaching qualification and has relevant industry or teaching experience. If you do not yet hold a teaching qualification, you will be required to work towards achieving one within the first three years of employment.
Experience with the Duke of Edinburgh Award or Scouting would also be beneficial, particularly to support the delivery of both theoretical and practical elements of the Duke of Edinburgh qualification. The salary offered will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
