An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeper to join the team within the new Gynaecology Unit within Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, providing a range of clinics including Gynaecology tests and treatments to the residents of Fife.

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and efficiently. You should be able to work using your own initiative and have an active interest in developing the role of the housekeeper to meet the demands of the department. Successful applicants will be joining a well motivated and dynamic multi-disciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care possible.

Candidates should be enthusiastic, dynamic, caring and compassionate, with a keen interest in women’s health. You should be self motivated, and strive to deliver high quality patient focused care. Experience within a clinical setting is desirable, although not essential, as supervision and support will be available to orientate you into the role.

The post is Monday Friday hours between 0900 and 1300hrs, depending on the needs of the service.

Please note the salary for this post is pro rata to part time hours if applicable.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
