About The Role
Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for supply chain optimization? We’re looking for a proactive and data-driven Supply Planner to join our European Supply Planning Team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process—ensuring materials are available at the right time, in the right quantities, and at the right cost. You will drive tactical supply and inventory planning across our West European sites, working closely with buyers, planners, and the demand planning team to align supply with demand, maintain optimal stock levels, and minimize waste.
You’ll also lead and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing our planning and inventory management capabilities, including network design improvements and the development of our fractionation process models.
This is a dynamic, cross-functional role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, enjoys working with data, and is committed to continuous improvement in supply chain processes and planning technologies.

Responsibilities
As Supply Planner Europe your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Creating and maintaining effective supply plans to ensure timely material availability and meet production and customer demands.
- Managing inventory levels to strike the right balance between availability, efficiency, and cost, while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence
- Optimizing capacity utilization of assets across multiple sites within the planning scope.
- Collaborating closely with material buyers, production and inbound planners, and the demand planning team to forecast material requirements accurately.
- Monitoring supply performance and adjusting plans as needed to respond to changing demand and supply conditions.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of supply planning processes and tools, including involvement in supply network design initiatives.
- Leading and participating in projects to enhance planning capabilities and drive operational excellence within the supply chain.
- Developing and analyzing supply chain performance reports – including metrics such as inventory levels, capacity utilization, and delivery performance – to support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across the supply network
To be successful in the role you need:
Functional Knowledge
- Food or Process Industry: Basic understanding of raw material sourcing and production processes in a food, process, or similar industry.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: All activities involved from the sourcing of raw materials to the delivery of the final product to customers in a seamless flow that maximizes efficiency and minimizes costs.
- Working Experience: 3-5 years of experience in similar or related roles.
- Strong SAP knowledge: Extensive experience using SAP for supply planning and inventory management.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage and lead supply chain projects.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to read data in context, identify and address issues proactively, generate actionable insights, and develop creative solutions to complex problems.
- Technology: Ability to use network supply and capacity planning systems, common data software like Excel, and adapt and adopt existing and emerging planning technologies.
- Presentation, Communication and Collaboration: Clearly communicate results of analysis in verbal and written format, capable of adjusting communication according to the needs of stakeholders at different levels in the organization and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
