Bluebird Care is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Education Enabler who is fluent in both Swahili and English to provide essential support to a child with Moderate Learning Difficulties at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Basingstoke. In this position, you will engage in one-on-one support, helping the child develop crucial life skills while fostering a warm and structured atmosphere. Your contributions will empower the child to communicate effectively, make informed choices, and enjoy a fulfilling school experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to the child, enhancing the development of life skills, social interaction, and independence.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere, promoting positive behaviour and interactions.
- Communicate effectively using techniques suited to the individual needs of the child, ensuring their preferences are respected.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children and school staff to enhance collaborative support.
- Experience working with children with learning difficulties or educational needs is desirable.
- Child & Adult Fully Enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to complete one
- A driver with a full UK driver's licence and access to a car
- Demonstrated patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for child development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to respond to the child’s evolving needs.
- Availability for a five-day commitment during term time.
