Your Mission
As our Framework Lead - Wastewater, you’ll take charge of wastewater management projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while pioneering sustainable wastewater reduction solutions. You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, strategy, and stakeholder engagement to create a greener future.
Key Responsibilities
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, or a related field
Master’s degree or additional qualifications in sustainability (advantageous)
Experience
8+ years of experience in waste management, with at least 3 years in leadership
Proven track record in managing large-scale wastewater projects
Technical Knowledge
In-depth understanding of wastewater management technologies, processes, and legislation
Familiarity with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001)
Leadership & Communication
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage teams
Excellent communication skills—able to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
Analytical & Technical Proficiency
Sharp analytical mindset for problem-solving and data-driven decision-making
Proficiency in environmental management software & Microsoft Office Suite
Certifications
Membership of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) (desirable)
Additional Information
Travel: Regular visits to project sites and stakeholder meetings
Flexibility: Ability to respond to urgent issues outside normal working hours

- Develop & Implement strategic wastewater management plans aligned with environmental policies
- Oversee & Manage large-scale wastewater projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
- Ensure Compliance with UK environmental laws and regulations, including ISO 14001
- Engage Stakeholders, from local authorities to corporate partners and communities
- Identify & Implement new wastewater technologies and best practices
- Lead & Develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of sustainability
