About The Role
As a Product Owner, you will translate strategic direction into clear, actionable tasks, enabling delivery teams to ship valuable products. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, maintain, and innovate customer-centric products and features.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are clear, refined, and aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX design, engineering, design, and marketing, to define and deliver impactful features.
- Translate the roadmap into practical, customer-centric requirements.
- Monitor sprint progress, review completed work, thoroughly test features, and validate them against the agreed acceptance criteria to approve or reject user stories.
- Continuously gather and incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into the product lifecycle.
- Champion a customer-first mindset, making decisions grounded in user needs and data.
- Work with the Head of Product to align feature development with the roadmap and company OKRs.
- Monitor product outcomes and iterate based on performance and user insight.
- Attend daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and backlog refinement sessions with development teams.
- Write clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Ensure sprint progress, feature testing, and accept or reject stories based on agreed criteria.
- Support the team in removing blockers and clarifying requirements during development.
- Help coordinate product launches and ensure go-to-market readiness.
- Collaborate with team members to create and maintain clear product documentation and contribute to defining best practices.
- Monitor analytics and customer behaviour to inform prioritisation.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise a product backlog.
- Strong experience in writing clear and structured user stories.
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to balance user needs and business goals.
- Timely delivery of product features aligned to sprint and roadmap goals.
- Quality of product backlog and alignment to business objectives.
- Support the product team in identifying user problems, shaping hypotheses, defining KPIs, and driving a test-and-learn approach.
- Collaborative working relationship with the technical team, fostered through open communication, mutual trust, and a shared commitment to delivering impactful products.
