Due to a recent internal promotion, B&M are recruiting a creative, commercially driven, and detail-oriented Marketing and Brand Manager to lead our integrated marketing efforts. This role is pivotal in driving customer engagement, footfall, and sales across all category departments by developing and executing compelling marketing campaigns and maintaining a cohesive and strategic brand presence.


You will oversee the end-to-end management of the marketing calendar, working closely with internal buyers and external suppliers to deliver timely, effective, and customer-centric campaigns. As a key leader within the marketing team, you’ll bring ideas to life and mentor a high-performing team across social, CRM, web, PR, brand, influencers, and photography as well as ongoing relationships and management of external agencies and paid media activity.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of the annual marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities and trading cycles
  • Manage campaign activation across a multi-disciplinary team across social media, CRM, web content, PR, influencers, brand, photography and external communications
  • Oversee and manage high-profile PR activity, including proactive storytelling and reactive reputation management, to maintain and enhance the brand’s public image
  • Report on marketing performance and campaign ROI, applying data-driven insights to optimise strategy
  • Seek out and evaluate new marketing and brand opportunities and partnerships that are well-aligned with the business model, have proven success, and can drive growth and increase customer lifetime value
  • Drive innovation and creative thinking within the team, while ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Experience in working with external media buying agencies, affiliates, and end-to-end management of paid ATL marketing activity is required


Our ideal Brand and Marketing Manager candidate will have:

  • 3 years’ experience in a senior role marketing leadership or brand management role
  • Proven experience managing high-profile PR activity understanding of brand protection and reputation management, developing and executing integrated campaigns across a wide mix of channels, across digital and offline
  • Fantastic all round marketing experience with a passion for brand — and an even bigger passion for budget retail and what it represents to customers
  • Experience in brand building and connecting strategy to customer perception
  • Strong budget management skills, with experience overseeing and optimising marketing budgets to deliver maximum ROI
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills with a solutions-focused, can-do attitude
  • A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
  • The ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
