Role Purpose
We’re looking for a self-starting and motivated B2B Exhibition Sales Consultant to join their award-winning media team. In this role, you will work closely with the Events Sales Director and Business Development Consultant to sell exhibition stand space and lower-value sponsorship packages for Utility Week Live. As you grow in the role, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into higher-value sponsorships and multi-platform sales.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to re-enter the workforce and use their strong communication and business development skills in a dynamic, purpose-driven company.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell exhibition stand space and entry-level sponsorship packages for Utility Week Live.
- Progress to higher-value and multi-platform sales across the portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients within the utilities sector.
- Develop deep market knowledge to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the internal team to deliver customer value and business growth.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience.
- Proven track record of business development in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of the sales process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in exhibitions or media sales is desirable but not essential.
- Enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys being immersed in their market.
