Commercial Administrator
We are seeking an Administrator to join our team based in York to support the operations management team.
Location: York
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08.30am-16.30pm)
Salary: Up to £27,000

We are seeking an Administrator to join our team based in York to support the operations management team.

Responsibilities – But Not Limited To
- Collect and collate data to support commercial reporting
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Raise and manage Purchase Orders
- Assist with cost reporting and forecasting
- Support procurement and payment of subcontractors
- Aid in preparation of Applications for Payment
- Liaise with clients to resolve account and invoicing queries
- Address Work In Progress (WIP) and debt queries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in invoicing and raising Purchase Orders
- Familiarity with month-end reporting processes
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commercial department experience is desirable
- Driving licence preferred (due to rural location)
- Positive, enthusiastic approach to work
- Team player with a proactive mindset
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Effective communicator and numerically confident
- Solution-focused with a “can-do” attitude
