Mole Valley Feed Solutions is looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Alternative Feeds Trader to join our expert team. Reporting to the Trading Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving volume and margin through the trading of alternative feeds.

Mole Valley Feed Solutions is looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Alternative Feeds Trader to join our expert team. Reporting to the Trading Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving volume and margin through the trading of alternative feeds.
About This Role
- Providing advice and support to farmers to enable them to make informed purchasing decisions
- Trade alternative feeds such as soya, rape, wheat, and barley to our farming customer base
- Support the sales of the added value and processed grain products, such as fats & caustic wheat
- Building longstanding relationships with our customers, suppliers, and field sales team
- Proactively seek new customers through regular prospecting
- Liaising with our suppliers to ensure our customers receive the best possible pricing and service levels
- A keen interest to develop an understanding of the agricultural commodities market, trends, pricing, and demand
- Passionate with a sound understanding of UK agriculture and terminology
- Drive and determination, and comfortable working within a sales environment
- Previous experience working in an agricultural commercial environment, or any relevant agricultural experience would be advantageous.
