Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Warehouse, Working at heights

Lead our transportation team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Loughborough, ensuring seamless delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities involved in the transportation of goods and services using our commercial fleet.
• Ensure high levels of operational standards, efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that our customers' needs are met with the highest quality.
• Act as a crucial point of contact and report directly to the Transportation Manager.
• Successfully implement strategies to improve transportation processes and outcomes.
  
  

Requirements

• Must hold a HGV licence Min Class 2
• Proven experience in a transportation or shipping role.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to strictly adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• A track record of determining and implementing effective transportation strategies.
