About The Role And Team
We are currently seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary to join our Personal Planning and Management team in Macclesfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take a step up and have the opportunity to manage 1-2 Legal Secretaries.
While the primary focus will be on supporting our Personal Planning and Management team, there is also the opportunity to work across other areas of our Private Client practice, including Family, Childcare, and Mental Health. This offers exposure to a diverse and engaging range of legal work.

Key Responsibilities
- Typing and preparing legal documents via digital dictation.
- Supporting with a variety of legal matters including Court of Protection applications, court orders, financial requests, Wills, and Powers of Attorney.
- Efficient diary management and scheduling.
- Full file management, including file opening and closure, compliance checks, scanning, and document organisation within our document management system.
- Communicating professionally and sensitively with clients and external professionals via telephone and email.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent secretarial skills
- They will be enthusiastic and keen to get involved and take on whatever may come their way
- Their ability to contribute to a busy department as a reliable team player is essential
- They will have the ability to confidently and sensitively build rapport with clients and third parties and manage client expectations
- Secretarial qualifications are preferable but not essential
