Our Mission
Radical Forge is a Middlesbrough, UK-based developer that has provided co-development services on a range of AAA and indie titles. In 2021, the company created its first original IP, 'Brightpaw', which Rogue Games published on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One/Series S/X, Google, and iOS. The studio is currently working on the much-anticipated silly, physics-based, sandbox farming game, 'Southfield'.
Since its beginnings in 2017, the company has grown to over 60 incredibly talented, collaborative, and creative individuals. We are the sum of our skills, passion, and, most of all, our people. Your Mission
- Own and define UI & UX deliverables, from concept to project completion. Ensure that the UI & UX meet the relevant quality and useability requirements, and champion the player experience.
- Ensure UI/UX align with game vision - working closely with design, engineering and other disciplines.
- Proactively collaborate with the producer and team to create a realistic and achievable feature set/backlog.
- Take a pragmatic approach to meet deadlines without compromising agreed quality.
- Create, update, and share documentation and information to support project teams across disciplines.
- When required, communicate and work effectively with external partners and publishers.
Ideal Applicant
- Strong experience of implementation within Unity Engine (Unreal experience a bonus)
- Adaptive, communication skills, written & spoken
- Effective at giving and receiving feedback
- Experience of using Version Control systems (Perforce)
- Ability to carry out task estimation and communicate status through Jira
- Strong skills in artistic and graphic design
- Experience of wireframing and prototyping
- Has demonstrated ability to work alongside other disciplines
- Has experience working on projects through more than one phase of development, including production and live service.
- Proactively contributes to team culture and an inclusive environment.
This role can be fully remote within the UK.
We will require all applicants to have a pre-existing right to work in the UK.
The role will initially be a 12 month contract with the potential to extend after this.
