Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Global Finance ERP Process Integration Strategy Director in the UK. This position is ideally located in Pennsylvania or New Jersey; however, location can be flexible. If not based in PA / NJ, the candidate will need to work primarily Eastern Standard Time or European Standard Hours and will need to be able to travel to New Brunswick as needed.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

The Global Finance ERP Process Integration Strategy Director will be responsible for coordination and orchestration of new S4 Finance transaction and close processes, and deployment of those Standard processes in partnership with the deployment teams. This role is part of the Global Finance ERP Strategy & Operations team under the SigniFi Program. SigniFi is our Finance Transformation program, and this person will have a leadership role in that transformation.

As a Process Integration lead in our S4 environment they will work across TransAct / CFIN, EP&A, and GPO teams to ensure that we have an integrated end to end approach, creating all process documentation necessary, as we continue to advance our close capabilities leveraging SAP S4 Finance.

  • They will be responsible for deploying processes within the scope of TransAct; identifying and creating documentation necessary to train and deploy to the teams that will execute those processes in S4 finance.
  • They will be responsible for partnering to help define and design new processes with the GPOs and finance systems solutions team and test them in coordination with the finance systems deployment teams.
  • They will also partner across other SigniFi workstreams, including working with Tax, Global Services, Reporting & Analytics, Statutory, Compliance and finance GPOs to ensure impacts of deployments are well understood, and where necessary integrated.
  • Success in this role includes end to end strategic thinking, planning and orchestrating, understanding of our Close processes and deploying simplified and standardized processes to ensure continued advancement of our end state solution.
  • They will need strong influencing and negotiating skills as they will be a change leader, helping our Finance organization to reach aligned outcomes
  • The Global Finance ERP Process Integration Strategy Director will have the ability to interact with numerous senior leaders through in-person meetings, presentations, etc. This will give them the ability to hone their collaborative and presentation skills while building a reputation as a trusted advisor and champion for Project SigniFi.
  • They will also use their core understanding of the financial close process and consistently drive the organization toward transformational change.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA, CMA or other financial certifications preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant finance or accounting experience is required
  • Prior people management experience required, and strong track record of people development experience and outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of general finance and accounting processes is required
  • Prior experience managing portfolios and project management is strongly preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office are required
  • Knowledge of foundational SAP S4 Hana, Common Information Model / Master Data concept and emerging technologies preferred
  • Experienced professional with ability to influence and effectively communicate with senior management required
  • Ability to anticipate and proactively address challenges and recommend alternate options
  • Collaborative style and able to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Up to 10% international travel may be required
