This is a part-time role, working 22 hours per week on a 7-day rota, including public holidays, with a mix of 7.5-hour and 12-hour shifts. The successful applicant will be primarily based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital (IRH) but will also be required to provide cross-cover clinical photography services across other NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GGC) sites.
(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
An exciting opportunity has become available for a part-time Band 6 Specialist Clinical Photographer to join the Medical Illustration Services team at Inverclyde Royal Hospital (IRH), Greenock.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced clinical photographer with a broad clinical portfolio to help deliver a high-quality, professional clinical and ophthalmic photography service. As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will share responsibility for ensuring the delivery of safe, accurate, and secure imaging to support patient care.
You will also play an active role in the ongoing development of our services and staffcontributing to training, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.

- A degree in Clinical Photography or equivalent experience
- Full membership of a recognised professional body
- Registration with the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) Register for Medical Illustrators
- Proven experience in ophthalmic photography
