Description
- Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure all financial documentation is organised and stored appropriately.
- Assist with audit preparations and address any queries from auditors.
- Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department as required.
A Successful Assistant Accountant Should Have
- Experience in a similar role within Accounting & Finance.
- Good knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A commitment to pursuing relevant professional qualifications, with study support provided.
- A competitive salary of £32,000 - £36,000 per annum.
