Role Overview

As a Site Manager, you will play a key role in leading on-site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Working collaboratively within a project team, you will be responsible for maintaining strict compliance with health and safety regulations, CDM requirements, and project specifications throughout the construction lifecycle.

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee project delivery from a site perspective
  • Liaise with clients on site and manage sub-contractors
  • Review contractors' RAMS and ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments, work instructions, and designs
  • Order materials and plant equipment and organize mobilization of major projects
  • Carry out site audits and follow all guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain technical skills, attend training, and deliver work according to company procedures
  • Manage a high-performing team and provide a positive work environment
  • Adjust project schedules and navigate issues during the construction phase
  • Maintain awareness of safety policies and report concerns promptly
  • Provide regular feedback on performance and progress towards goals
  • Ensure that projects are constructed safely, to high quality standards, on time and within budget
  • Review weekly and monthly reports and follow safety and security procedures
  • Attend site on a regular basis and complete all tasks as instructed
  • Lead by example and reinforce safe behaviours
  • Support the H&S team and generate internal reports and conferences

What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of H&S and risk assessment legislation and practices
  • Self-motivated and customer-focused
  • Flexible approach to travel and work location
  • CSCS card, SMSTS certification, and First Aid qualification
  • Excellent communication skills and good IT skills
  • Full Clean UK driving license
  • IOSH Managing Health & Safety certification and risk assessment training
  • Technical skills, industry knowledge, scheduling, and programming experience
  • Passion for quality, continuous improvement, excellence, and innovation
